Best Website Voice AI for Healthcare Clinics (2026)

Six options for medical and allied-health clinics: call answering and website help, with what each vendor says about HIPAA and security, plus prices and limits.

Best website voice AI for healthcare clinics: what vendors state about privacy

Clinics need an assistant that handles administrative questions without drifting into clinical advice, and that comes with clear privacy terms. Goodcall, My AI Front Desk, Ruby, Chatbase and Aircall each publish compliance statements, which you must verify, while AnveVoice covers the website by voice and asserts no certification. Researched from the sources below on 2026-10-14. AnveVoice is our product and appears in this list. Other tools are described from their own websites, checked on 2026-10-14. We do not receive payment from any tool listed.

How we chose

Healthcare is where a wrong or careless answer costs the most. We therefore weighed what each vendor says publicly about privacy and security, but we did not audit any claim. A statement on a website is a starting point for a conversation and a signed agreement, not proof. Beyond compliance statements, clinics need scope control, a human handoff and language support for patient populations. Everything below was read from vendor sites on 2026-10-14.

  • Public compliance statements and whether an agreement for health data is mentioned.
  • Scope control: administrative help only, with escalation to staff.
  • Channels: phone, website, SMS, and which patients actually use them.
  • Language coverage for the patient population.
  • Cost a clinic can predict, and a way to pilot first.

1. Goodcall: phone answering with stated SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance

Goodcall answers calls at any hour, qualifies callers, books through connected calendars, updates a CRM and transfers to a person. It publishes SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance statements, and bills per unique customer rather than per minute. Starter $79 a month for 100 unique customers; Growth $129 for 500; Scale $299 for 2,000; a free demo agent can be built and tested before a number is connected (2026-10-14). Limitation: phone only, so it does nothing for website visitors.

2. My AI Front Desk: phone, text and chat with signed agreements stated

My AI Front Desk says it provides HIPAA compliance with signed business associate agreements, and its agents handle calls, SMS, WhatsApp, chat and email with shared memory. It supports 20 or more languages. Business-in-a-Box is $99 a month, or $79 annually, with 200 voice minutes, 100 chatbot conversations, 400 SMS and 300 website form submissions (2026-10-14). Limitation: the pricing FAQ and homepage conflict about a free plan, and browser voice is not confirmed.

3. Ruby: human receptionists, with HIPAA stated

Ruby supplies human receptionists and staffed live chat; its AI helps with transcription and screening but does not answer calls. HIPAA compliance for its receptionists is stated by the vendor, and bilingual English and Spanish receptionists are available. Receptionist plans start at $250 a month for 50 minutes; live chat from $143 for 10 chats (2026-10-14). Limitation: the most expensive per interaction, and no AI voice.

4. Chatbase: trained text and voice agents, with certifications listed

Chatbase lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA on its site and trains agents on your content, deploying to chat, email, WhatsApp and phone voice. It can run procedures with built-in actions. Hobby $40 a month for 700 credits with a 7-day trial; Standard $150; Pro $500 (2026-10-14). Limitation: actions shown are back-end tasks, and website voice is not stated.

5. AnveVoice: patient questions on the website by voice

AnveVoice is our product. It answers administrative questions such as location, parking, opening hours and how to request an appointment from the clinic's pages, and can fill the site's own appointment-request form by voice, in 50 core languages. Its agents page does not assert HIPAA, GDPR or SOC 2 status, and its security page is at anvevoice.app/security. Free at $0 with 50,000 tokens a month; Growth $39 a month; Scale $129 a month (checked 2026-10-14). Limitations: website only, and for that reason we advise keeping symptoms and identifiers out of it.

6. Aircall: a phone platform with AI voice agents on top

Aircall is a cloud phone system with AI voice agents that gather details, resolve routine inquiries and escalate with context; it states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA, and offers 250 or more integrations including Salesforce, HubSpot and Zendesk. Essentials is $30 per license a month billed annually with a three-user minimum; standalone AI Voice Agents are $0.49 a minute pay as you go with a $100 monthly minimum, and sign-up includes 100 AI minutes (2026-10-14). Limitation: a phone-operations product, with no website widget.

Scope: what the assistant must not do

Write down the boundary. The assistant can share opening hours, services, location, how to register and what to bring to an appointment. It must not interpret symptoms, comment on medication or promise a diagnosis. For anything urgent, it should show your emergency instructions at once. Review transcripts regularly. Even well-configured assistants sometimes wander, and a clinic is responsible for what its website says.

Before you connect any patient data

Ask each vendor for its data processing terms and, where your rules require it, a signed agreement. Ask where recordings are stored and how long. If you cannot get those answers in writing, keep the tool to non-identifying questions and link to your own secure forms for anything personal.
