How they differ

Bland's documentation walks you through setting up an agent, giving it a phone number and making a first call. The product is designed around outbound and inbound calls, with SMS and email alongside. Its docs mention monitoring of web conversations but, as far as we could find, describe no embeddable website widget, so we record browser voice as not published. AnveVoice does nothing on the phone. Its entire surface is the website: a visitor speaks, the agent replies from the site's content, and where the site has a form or another page the visitor needs, the agent can move there or complete the form on their behalf. This is therefore less a head-to-head and more a question of where the conversation starts. If a customer picks up the phone, Bland's category is the relevant one. If they arrive on your pricing page and have a question, AnveVoice's is.

Pricing compared

Bland's pricing page, checked on 2026-10-14, shows Start at $0.14 per minute of talk time with a $0 platform fee and no card, and Build at $299/month with $0.12 per minute. Transfer time is billed at $0.05 per minute on Start and $0.04 per minute on Build. The per-minute rate includes the language model, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, so there are no token charges, but telephony is billed separately, either through your own carrier or the built-in Twilio at pass-through cost. Enterprise is contracted to volume and lists on-premises or VPC deployment, a BAA, single sign-on and data residency. AnveVoice has Free at $0, Growth at $39/month and Scale at $129/month, with no per-minute fee. Because the two are metered on different things, compare using your own numbers: expected call minutes for Bland, expected site conversations for AnveVoice. Prices are those published on each vendor's site on 2026-10-14. Bland's telephony cost is extra and varies by carrier.

Choose Bland AI if

  • You want AI agents making outbound calls or answering inbound calls. AnveVoice has no phone channel.
  • You like an all-in per-minute rate that covers the model, speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
  • You need enterprise controls Bland lists, such as on-premises or VPC deployment, a BAA, SSO and data residency. AnveVoice does not claim these on its agents page.
  • You want a simple public two-tier price before talking to sales.
  • Your volume is call-centre style and you want transfer to humans billed at a published rate.

Choose AnveVoice if

  • Your visitors are on your website and you want them to talk to it.
  • You want the agent to guide people to pages and complete the site's forms.
  • You want a free plan and a flat price that does not depend on call minutes.
  • You need an install that takes a script tag, plugin or app rather than a telephony project.

Using both together

A service business with a phone line and a website is the natural fit for both. Bland handles the calls, including after hours, while AnveVoice handles website visitors. Each can hand people to the other: the website agent can show your number, and a call agent can send a link. They are separate products with separate knowledge and billing. Plan to maintain answers in both places, and decide which one is the source of truth for hours, pricing and policies.
