What happened to Drift
Anyone comparing tools today should know the state of play first. The page salesloft.com/platform/drift says, in so many words, that the company has transitioned from Drift to 1mind for AI chat agents. The same page still shows a link to log in to Drift, and drift.com itself is only a redirect notice. Salesloft's pricing page lists no prices, asks you to talk to sales, and does not mention 1mind at all. That leaves real ambiguity, and we would rather state it than guess. From the pages we read on 2026-10-14 we cannot tell whether a new customer can still buy Drift on its own, what 1mind costs, how it is packaged, or how long existing Drift accounts will run. We treat Drift as transitioned or legacy, not as a current self-serve chat product, and we suggest you ask Salesloft directly before you plan around it. What Salesloft does say about 1mind is short: its AI chat agents engage visitors as soon as they arrive on a site and connect to Salesloft workflows. We found no published detail on voice, on-page actions, languages or setup, so those cells say Not published rather than a guess.
How they differ
Drift's value was always its place inside a revenue stack. Under Salesloft, the chat agent is positioned as one piece of a sales platform, so the natural buyer is a team that already runs its pipeline in Salesloft and wants website conversations to feed it. That is a platform decision more than a widget decision. AnveVoice is a single-purpose tool. It answers visitors' questions out loud from your own site content, moves them between pages and fills in your site's forms for them. It does not connect to a CRM, score leads or hand conversations to a sales rep inside a sales platform. Anything a visitor submits goes wherever your own form sends it. So the question is not which product has a better chat bubble. It is whether you need website conversations wired into a sales workflow, which points toward Salesloft, or a spoken guide for visitors that you can switch on yourself in minutes, which points toward AnveVoice.
Pricing compared
Salesloft publishes no prices for Drift or 1mind on the pages we checked on 2026-10-14; the pricing page asks you to talk to sales. We therefore do not quote any figure, and nothing here should be read as a Drift price. AnveVoice publishes three public tiers and a custom enterprise option. Billing is by tokens rather than by minute or seat. Salesloft's pricing page did not show any prices when checked on 2026-10-14.

Choose Drift (Salesloft / 1mind) if
- You already run Salesloft and want AI chat on your site connected to the same workflows, which Salesloft says 1mind supports.
- You are an existing Drift customer and prefer to follow Salesloft's migration path rather than change vendors; ask them for timing and terms.
- You buy through a sales-led process and are comfortable with a quote instead of a price list.
- Your goal is feeding a sales pipeline from website conversations, not helping visitors complete tasks on the page.
Choose AnveVoice if
- You want to switch something on today without a demo call: sign up, copy one script tag, and test on the Free plan.
- You want visitors to speak to the site and have the agent fill forms or move them to the right page.
- You need prices you can see before talking to anyone, and a flat monthly cost.
- You do not use Salesloft and do not want to adopt a sales platform just to get a website assistant.
If you are shopping for a Drift alternative
Decide first what you actually used Drift for, because the alternatives split by job. If you want free or low-cost chat captured into a CRM, HubSpot's free live chat and chatbot builder is one option we compare on its own page. If you want an AI agent aimed at lead-generation funnels on a higher flat price, look at Olark. If you want guided qualification flows on web and WhatsApp, look at Landbot. If your reason is that visitors do not type, or you want the agent to complete forms for them, a voice agent that acts on the page is a different category, and that is where AnveVoice sits. If the main need is routing hot leads to reps, a CRM-linked chat tool is the better starting point and AnveVoice is not a replacement.
Using both together
If Salesloft remains your system for sales workflows, there is no conflict in adding AnveVoice for visitors who would rather talk. The two serve different moments: the sales-linked chat captures and routes, while the voice agent helps people read, navigate and fill in forms. Because AnveVoice has no CRM integration, send any form it fills to your existing lead capture so Salesloft still receives the contact.
Switching or adding AnveVoice
- 1. Check where you stand with Salesloft — Confirm your Drift contract status and any renewal date before you remove anything.
- 2. Create a free AnveVoice bot — Register at app.anvevoice.app, build a bot from your site content and copy the embed ID.
- 3. Install alongside what you have — Add the one-line tag, or use the WordPress plugin or Shopify app. The guides at /install cover each platform.
- 4. Compare for a month — Watch form completions and conversations, then decide whether the chat widget is still worth its cost.
