Best AI for Website Appointment Booking (2026)

Four tools that help website visitors book appointments, compared on calendar links, form help, after-hours cover and what each leaves to you.

Best AI for website appointment booking: four options compared

Booking is a small task with a high cost when it fails. Four tools help visitors book from a website: Elfsight, AnveVoice, My AI Front Desk and Landbot. Only some connect to a calendar, so this page is clear about what each one actually does. Researched from the sources below on 2026-10-14. AnveVoice is our product and appears in this list. Other tools are described from their own websites, checked on 2026-10-14. We do not receive payment from any tool listed.

How we chose

We looked for tools that serve a website visitor wanting an appointment, and noted which ones connect to a calendar and which only collect a request. Phone-only receptionists are covered in a separate roundup.

  • Booking mechanism (weighted most): direct calendar booking, filling your booking form, or collecting a request for a person to confirm.
  • Works for a visitor on the website, not only for callers.
  • After-hours cover: it can act when nobody is in the office.
  • Setup effort for a non-technical owner.
  • Price and plan limits stated by the vendor.

The shortlist at a glance

Tools are ordered by fit to the criteria above, not by price or popularity. Pricing columns describe how each vendor charges, using the vendor's own pricing page checked on 2026-10-14.

  • Tool | Best for | Voice on website | Pricing basis | Free plan
  • Elfsight (AI chatbot widget) | Solo practitioners already using Calendly or Cal.com | Not published | Flat tiers by widget views, from $5 per month billed yearly | Yes: 50 messages a month
  • AnveVoice | Service businesses with an existing booking or enquiry form | Yes, in the browser | Flat tiers: Free, $39, $129 per month | Yes: $0, 50,000 tokens a month, 1 bot, no card
  • My AI Front Desk | Small businesses that want calls and website forms handled together | Not published | Flat tiers, $99 per month ($79 billed yearly) | No per its FAQ; 7-day trial
  • Landbot | Practices that want screened leads, not instant slots | Not published | Flat tiers by chats, from EUR 32 per month billed yearly | Yes: 100 chats a month, no AI chats

1. Elfsight AI Chatbot Widget: booking through Calendly or Cal.com

Elfsight's chatbot widget lists booking through Calendly or Cal.com, along with lead capture and hand-off to a human. You train it on your pages and files, paste an embed code into WordPress, Shopify, Wix or Squarespace, and visitors can ask questions and be guided to book. A free forever plan includes 50 messages a month, with paid plans from $5 a month billed yearly. Limitation: it relies on your Calendly or Cal.com setup, so rescheduling and reminders are those tools' job, and it is text only.

2. AnveVoice: voice help completing the site's booking form

AnveVoice's published use case includes helping visitors fill forms or book on the website. A visitor can speak a request, and the agent can navigate to the booking page and fill the site's own form. That makes it a fit when you already have a booking form or a booking page from another system embedded on the site. It costs $0 (Free), $39 or $129 a month, flat, and installs with one script tag. Limitation: it works with the booking flow your site already has (the material we hold describes no built-in calendar); it is website only, so it will not answer a phone call.

3. My AI Front Desk: a phone-first receptionist with a web chatbot

My AI Front Desk builds a receptionist by reading your website, connects to calendars and CRMs (and via Zapier), and covers phone, SMS, WhatsApp, web chat, email and website forms. Its plan counts website form submissions and chatbot conversations separately, so booking requests from the site fit within one subscription. Business-in-a-Box is $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, including 200 voice minutes, 100 chatbot conversations, 400 SMS and 300 website form submissions. Limitation: its homepage and pricing page disagree about a free plan, a 'Free AI Voicebot' page gives no detail, so website voice is not confirmed, and it is phone-first.

4. Landbot: qualify before the appointment

Landbot's guided chatbots qualify visitors on web and WhatsApp, answer only from your content, and hand off to a human with full context. With native HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, qualified leads can reach a CRM for someone to schedule. The free forever plan gives 100 chats a month with no AI chats; Starter is EUR 32 a month billed annually. Limitation: booking itself is not described on the pages we checked, so it fits where a person confirms the appointment.

Phone booking is a different job

Receptionists such as Goodcall, Rosie and Smith.ai answer calls and book appointments, but they work by phone rather than on the website. If most bookings arrive by phone, see our AI phone receptionist roundup. The tools above are for the visitor who is already on your site, perhaps at ten at night, deciding whether to get in touch. For that visitor the best result is a confirmed slot, the next best is a complete request that your team can confirm quickly, and the worst is a vague chat that ends with 'please call us'. Judge each tool by which of those outcomes it produces on your real booking flow.

Questions to settle first

  • Who confirms the appointment: the AI, your calendar tool or a person?
  • What happens when a visitor asks to reschedule or cancel?
  • Do you need reminders, deposits or intake forms, and who sends them?
  • Can the tool refuse unsuitable bookings, for example outside opening hours or service area?
