Add a Voice AI Agent to ClickFunnels
Add the AnveVoice voice agent to ClickFunnels with site, funnel or page header and footer code, plus how Custom HTML pages differ and how to test live.
How to add AnveVoice to ClickFunnels pages
ClickFunnels has three places for a footer script: Site Settings for the whole workspace, Funnel Settings for every step of one funnel, and the page editor for a single step. Paste the AnveVoice tag in the Footer Code field at the level you want, save, and test on the published page. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.
At a glance
- Where the code goes: Footer Code in Site Settings, Funnel Settings or the page editor's Tracking Code settings
- Coding needed: None; paste one tag
- Plan limits: The help articles read describe no plan restriction for header and footer code
- Exception: Custom HTML pages are served as pasted and do not receive site or funnel code
Choose the right level
ClickFunnels documents code fields at three scopes. Site Settings, in the Site & Blog app, has Header Code and Footer Code under a Tracking Codes heading, and the help article says code there applies to all pages in the workspace, including funnel pages, store pages and blog posts. Funnel Settings has Head Code and Footer Code that apply to every page in that funnel. Inside the page editor, each page has its own header and footer code under its settings. A voice agent normally wants to be on every page, so the site level is the efficient choice if your workspace is all one business. If the workspace contains several brands, set it at funnel level instead. Footer code is placed before the closing body tag, which the help articles recommend for chat widgets, so that is the right slot for AnveVoice. - 1. Prepare the tag — Substitute your embed ID. Because ClickFunnels page-level code boxes expect HTML, keep the script element complete. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>
Method 1: site-wide
- 1. Open Site Settings — From your workspace click the Site & Blog app in the left-hand menu and choose Site Settings.
- 2. Find Tracking Codes — Scroll to the Tracking Codes section, which contains Header Code and Footer Code fields.
- 3. Paste in Footer Code — Add the AnveVoice tag to Footer Code and save with the update button at the bottom of the page.
Method 2: one funnel
- 1. Open the funnel's settings — Open Funnel Settings from the funnels dashboard or from the workflow editor.
- 2. Scroll to Head Code and Footer Code — These sit with the branding and custom code options. The help article says they insert scripts into all pages of that funnel.
- 3. Paste and update — Put the tag in Footer Code and click Update Funnel.
Method 3: one page
In the page editor open the page's Settings and choose Tracking Code, then use the Header Code or Footer Code section. The ClickFunnels article says to wrap scripts in script tags there, which the AnveVoice line already is. Save the page and publish. Use page level when only a landing page, and not the rest of the funnel, should offer voice.
Custom HTML pages and the HTML/JS element
A Custom HTML page is a funnel step whose whole body is a document you paste in. ClickFunnels serves it exactly as pasted and says nothing is rewritten, injected or templated, so site and funnel code fields do not reach it. On those pages, put the AnveVoice tag inside your own HTML, above its closing body tag. The documentation also describes an HTML/JS element under the Miscellaneous category of the element picker, where a script wrapped in script tags can live. Third-party advice about whether that element runs scripts reliably is mixed, so for a site-wide tool the header and footer fields are the safer choice, and the page-level fields are better than the element if you only want one page.
Test on the published page
- 1. Publish first — Make sure the funnel or site is published. Preview in the editor is not a reliable test of third-party scripts.
- 2. Open the live URL in a private window — Look for the round microphone at bottom-right, click it, allow microphone access and ask something.
- 3. Check for repeats — If you pasted the tag at more than one level, remove the extras. The script ignores a second copy on a page, but duplicates complicate troubleshooting.
Common problems
- Works on funnel pages but not a Custom HTML step: that step ignores shared fields, so paste the tag in its HTML.
- Button missing in the editor: expected. Check the published URL.
- ClickFunnels Classic menus look different: the labels in this guide follow the current documentation; locate the equivalent Head and Footer code fields in your account.
- Support will not debug it: the help articles say the team cannot troubleshoot third-party codes, so use your browser console.
