Add a Voice AI Agent to Leadpages
Add the AnveVoice voice agent to Leadpages through the builder's Settings > Analytics tracking code fields, with pop-up, site-wide and publish notes.
How to add AnveVoice to a Leadpages page or site
Leadpages keeps third-party code in the builder's Settings panel, on the Analytics tab. Paste the AnveVoice tag into one of the code fields, click Save, then Update to publish. In the site builder that code applies site-wide, and pop-ups need their own copy. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.
At a glance
- Where the code goes: Builder > Settings (gear icon) > Analytics tab, in a tracking code field
- Scope: Site-wide in the site builder; each pop-up is separate
- Plan limits: Leadpages' tracking article and pricing page we read list none for custom code
- Publish step: Save, then Update, to push the change live
How Leadpages handles third-party code
Leadpages' knowledge base article on third-party tracking explains that every page, site or pop-up has global settings reached through the gear icon in the builder's left sidebar. The Analytics tab inside it is where tracking and analytics code goes. The tab used to be called Page Tracking in the retired builder, so older tutorials use that name. The fine print matters for a script that adds a visible widget. Leadpages states that all tracking and third-party analytics in the site builder are site-wide rather than page-specific, that changing the code of a page or site can cause issues, and that it does not support implementing or customising third-party code. Treat the AnveVoice tag the same way as any other pasted script: add it once, and verify it on the live URL. You will need an embed ID from a free bot at app.anvevoice.app.
- 1. Prepare the tag — Use your own embed ID. The tag works in either a head or a body field because it loads asynchronously. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>
Pages and sites
Do not paste the AnveVoice tag into the Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID field. That field accepts only an ID that starts with G-, not a script.
- 1. Open the builder — Create or open the Leadpages page or site where the voice agent should appear.
- 2. Open Settings — Click Settings in the left-hand sidebar (the gear icon).
- 3. Choose the Analytics tab — Select Analytics and look at the code fields it offers. Leadpages says to paste into whichever field your tool's instructions name. AnveVoice loads asynchronously, so a head field or a body field both work; pick one.
- 4. Paste, Save, Update — Paste the tag, click Save, then click Update so the published page picks it up.
Pop-ups
Pop-ups are built and published separately from pages. Leadpages documents their own Settings tab with tracking code fields, and it notes that code pasted into a pop-up's body section always appears at the beginning of that body section. Only add the voice agent to a pop-up if you want it in that context; the page or site setting already covers pages that host the pop-up.
If you publish somewhere else
The same article answers whether third-party code works when pages are published to WordPress or to your own server: it should, as long as the code is on the page or site. For the Advanced HTML export, Leadpages suggests pasting tracking code straight into the exported source rather than the builder. That is also the right approach for AnveVoice, so follow the install guide for the destination platform when the page lives there.
Check that it works
- 1. Open the published URL — Use a private browser window and the real Leadpages or custom domain address, not the editor.
- 2. Look for the microphone — It appears bottom-right unless you set a different position. Click it, allow microphone access, and ask a question.
- 3. Test the pop-up separately — If you use pop-ups, open one and confirm the page's script is still present.
Common problems
- Added but not live: you saved without clicking Update.
- Button on some assets only: pop-ups and pages are separate assets with separate settings.
- Worried about a second copy: duplicates are ignored by the AnveVoice script, though one tag is the clean setup.
- Microphone request blocked: use an HTTPS address for the page.
