How to add AnveVoice to HighLevel funnels and websites

In HighLevel, open the funnel or website, go to its Settings tab, and paste the AnveVoice tag into Head tracking code or Body tracking code to cover every page. For a single step, use the builder's Tracking Code panel instead. Verify on the published page, because the code is injected in the browser. Page-level versus site-wide

HighLevel's support article on tracking code sets out two scopes. Site-wide code lives in the funnel or website Settings and runs on every page or step in it, which HighLevel recommends for base analytics and ad pixels. Page-level code lives in the builder and runs only on that page, which HighLevel suggests for events that should fire on one step, such as a confirmation page. A floating assistant belongs in the first group. You want it on every step, so use the site-wide fields. The article also advises to follow the placement instructions of whoever supplied the script; for AnveVoice, the tag is asynchronous so head or body both work. Method 1: whole funnel or website

1. Open the funnel or website — Go to Sites, choose Funnels or Websites, and open the one you want.
2. Open Settings — Click the Settings tab.
3. Paste the tag — Locate Head tracking code and Body tracking code. Paste the AnveVoice tag into Body tracking code, or Head tracking code if you prefer.
4. Save — Click Save, then check a published page.

Method 2: a single step or page

HighLevel adds two cautions here. Adding the same script at both levels can duplicate page views, events or conversions in other tools, so use one level. And page-level tracking is deliberately not copied when you clone a step or page, so a cloned step needs the code pasted again, while site-wide code keeps applying.

1. Open the page in the builder — From Sites, open the funnel or website and select the step or page.
2. Choose Tracking Code — Click the Tracking Code option in the builder.
3. Paste into Header or Footer Tracking — Use Footer Tracking for the AnveVoice tag and click Save.

Why View Source shows nothing

HighLevel's troubleshooting guide explains that head and body tracking codes are injected on the client side by the platform, so they will not appear inside the head tag of the static page source. The source shows initial page data used for rendering. Google Tag Manager and similar tools still work with this approach. To confirm AnveVoice loaded, use the browser developer tools: look at the Network tab for a request to anvevoice.app/embed.js or the Elements panel after the page has finished loading. The same guide recommends enabling Optimize JavaScript to delay non-essential scripts and improve Total Blocking Time. That setting delays hydration of tracking codes, so if the voice button appears a little later than you expect, that option is one reason.

Privacy and consent

HighLevel provides a Cookie Consent Banner for funnels and websites and reminds users to review their setup against applicable privacy requirements when adding scripts that use cookies or similar technologies. Decide whether your visitors should consent before the voice agent loads and configure the banner accordingly.

Check that it works

1. Open the published page — Use the live domain in a private window, not the builder preview.
2. Try the button — Look for the round microphone at the bottom-right, click it, allow microphone access and speak.
3. Use developer tools — Confirm the embed request succeeded in the Network tab.

Common problems

Not in View Source: expected, since the code is injected after load.
Rendering problems after adding code: HighLevel suggests removing custom code, header and footer tracking code and custom CSS to isolate the cause, then adding items back one by one.
Missing on a cloned step: page-level code does not copy; add it again or move it site-wide.
Script tag inside a div in a code element: HighLevel notes script tags do not work nested in a div in builder code elements, so keep the script beside it.
Microphone blocked: the live domain must use HTTPS.
