Add a Voice AI Agent to Kartra Pages (Tracking Codes)

Add the AnveVoice voice agent to Kartra pages with Page Builder Settings, Tracking Codes: use the body field, export to a Site, then publish live.

How to add AnveVoice to Kartra pages

In the Kartra Page Builder, open Settings, then Tracking Codes, and paste the AnveVoice tag into the body field. Kartra's head field accepts JavaScript only, so a plain script tag belongs in the body field. Publish the page afterwards. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.

Before you start

Sign in to app.anvevoice.app and copy the embed ID for your bot. The Free plan is $0 and needs no card. Then pick the Kartra pages that should carry the agent: a landing page, a sales page, a membership page or a whole Site. Kartra offers two ways to put your own code on a page, and they behave differently. Tracking Codes are fields in the page settings for things like Google Tag Manager or ad pixels. Your Code is a page component you drag onto the canvas. For a site-wide script like AnveVoice, Tracking Codes are the cleaner route because they do not occupy space in your layout.

1. Copy your install tag — Use your own embed ID in place of YOUR_EMBED_ID. The optional &position and &theme parameters can go on the end of the URL. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>

Why the body field and not the head field

Kartra's own Google Tag Manager guide spells out the difference. The head field on Kartra pages accepts JavaScript only; it does not accept HTML, and tag wrappers get removed. The body field accepts both HTML and JavaScript. Because the AnveVoice install tag is an HTML script element, it belongs in the body field, where Kartra leaves it untouched.

Add the tag to a page

1. Open the page in Page Builder — In Kartra, go to Pages and open the page you want to edit.
2. Open Tracking Codes — Click Settings in the left side menu, then Tracking Codes.
3. Paste into the body field — Paste the AnveVoice script tag into the Body section and leave the Header section as it is.
4. Apply, then publish live — Click Apply, then use Actions → Publish live. Kartra's documentation says publishing is needed before the code is detected on the live page.

Apply it across a whole Site

Tracking codes are set page by page. If your pages belong to a Kartra Site, Kartra provides an export action that pushes tracking codes to the other pages so you do not repeat the steps. Open Sites, switch on Tracking Codes under Export to Site, select the pages and click Apply, then Proceed on the overwrite warning. The export overwrites the tracking codes on the pages you choose, so add the AnveVoice tag first on the page whose codes you want to copy, and confirm it also contains any analytics tags the other pages need. The export starts immediately but can take a while on large Sites.

Check that it works

1. Open the live page — Use the published URL in a private window, not the editor preview.
2. Find the button and test voice — A round microphone button appears bottom-right. Click it, allow the microphone and ask a question your page can answer.
3. Test a checkout or funnel step — Walk the funnel once. Pages you did not apply the tag to will not show the agent, which helps you spot which steps were missed.

Common problems

Pasted into the head field and nothing happened: the head field takes JavaScript only. Move the tag to the body field.
Looks fine in the editor but not live: you have not used Publish live, or you are viewing a cached copy. Kartra needs the live publish step.
Tag appears on some funnel steps only: tracking codes are per page. Add the tag to each page or use Export to Site.
Page layout breaks after adding code: Kartra recommends cloning the page before testing custom code, and says custom-code troubleshooting is outside its support team's scope.
