Add a Voice AI Agent to Podia (Website Tracking Code)
Add the AnveVoice voice agent to a Podia site via Settings, Analytics, Third-party code: body placement, Mover or Shaker plan, no logged-in areas.
How to add AnveVoice to a Podia site
Podia accepts third-party scripts in Admin, Settings, Analytics, in the Website tracking code box. AnveVoice works there because Podia places the code before the closing body tag. It needs a plan that includes custom code and will not appear in logged-in areas. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.
At a glance
- Where the code goes: Admin → Settings → Analytics → Third-party code → Website tracking code
- Placement: Podia inserts it just before the closing </body> tag (head-only tools are unsupported)
- Plan needed: A paid plan with custom code; Podia lists advanced analytics on Mover and Shaker
- Where it will not run: Logged-in areas such as the home feed, product viewer and community spaces
Before you start
Grab your embed ID from app.anvevoice.app. The AnveVoice Free plan is $0 with no card, which is enough to see how the agent behaves on your Podia pages before you decide anything else. Your install tag is below. Podia's rule is simple but strict: every snippet goes just before the closing body tag, and anything that must live in the head tag is unsupported. AnveVoice loads asynchronously and does not need the head, so it fits. Podia also states that custom code is limited to certain plans, and that a trial or a plan without the feature has to upgrade. Podia's advanced analytics documentation names the Mover and Shaker plans for custom tracking code.
- 1. Copy your install tag — Replace YOUR_EMBED_ID with your own value. You can append &position=bottom-left or &theme=dark to change placement or colour scheme. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>
Paste the tag into Website tracking code
Podia uses the label tracking code for any snippet, so the AnveVoice tag goes in the same box you would use for an analytics tool.
- 1. Open your admin — From the home feed, click your site name and choose Admin.
- 2. Go to Settings, then Analytics — Find the Third-party code row and click Edit next to it.
- 3. Paste into Website tracking code — Paste the AnveVoice script tag into the Website tracking code field, leaving any existing snippets above it.
- 4. Save — Click Save. Leave the Conversion tracking code box empty; that box only runs after a purchase or sign-up and is the wrong place for a site-wide voice agent.
Who will see it, and who will not
Podia is explicit that website tracking code runs on public pages, including checkout pages, and does not run in logged-in areas. Its example is the home feed, and it names the customer dashboard, product viewer pages and community spaces as private areas where chat widgets, popups and pixels will not appear. For AnveVoice this shapes the use case. The agent is a good fit for your storefront, sales pages and checkout, where prospects ask pre-sale questions. It will not follow a customer into a course or community they have already joined. If you want a helper inside the member area, Podia's code box cannot provide it today.
Things Podia's docs warn about
- Podia does not output tracking code while you are logged in to Podia, so you will not see the button if you are signed in as the owner. Test in a private window.
- Ad blockers can hide the button during testing; Podia recommends disabling them when you check tracking tools.
- Tools that insist on head placement, such as the TikTok Pixel, are not supported. This does not affect AnveVoice, but it explains why some other scripts you try will fail.
- Podia cannot access your third-party accounts, so questions about the contents of the AnveVoice tag go to AnveVoice, not Podia.
Check that it works
- 1. Open a private or incognito window — Visit your Podia homepage without signing in to Podia, with extensions that block scripts turned off.
- 2. Find the microphone button — It sits in the bottom-right corner by default. Click it, allow the microphone, and ask something about a product you sell.
- 3. Open a product page and checkout — Confirm the button also loads on the product page and on the checkout page, which Podia treats as public.
Common problems
- The Third-party code option is greyed out: you may be on a plan without custom code, or your email is unconfirmed. Podia mentions a banner on the admin dashboard asking you to confirm your email.
- Nothing shows after saving: make sure you pasted into Website tracking code rather than Conversion tracking code.
- Button shows to guests but not to members: that is Podia's design for logged-in areas, not a fault in the tag.
- Microphone blocked: custom domains must be on HTTPS for browsers to allow microphone access.
