Add a Voice AI Agent to Hostinger Website Builder

Add the AnveVoice voice agent in Hostinger Website Builder via Integrations, Custom code or an embed element. Auto-placement, update step and fixes.

How to add AnveVoice to Hostinger Website Builder

In the Hostinger Website Builder open More, then Integrations, paste the AnveVoice script into the Custom code field, save, and update your website. Hostinger moves script tags to the end of the body automatically, and the result shows in preview and online but not in the editor. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.

At a glance

  • Where the code goes: Builder, More (the three dots), Integrations, Custom code field
  • Placement: Hostinger puts script tags at the end of the body automatically
  • Plan limit: Hostinger's custom-code articles do not name a plan restriction
  • Goes live: After Save and then Update website

How Hostinger handles pasted code

The Hostinger Website Builder, which Hostinger now also calls its AI Builder with a manual editing mode, has a single Custom code field under Integrations. What makes it unusual is that you do not choose head or body yourself. Hostinger reads the tags you paste and decides: meta, link and style tags go to the head, while script, noscript and iframe tags go to the end of the body. The AnveVoice line is a script tag, so it lands at the end of the body without any effort. If a vendor ever needs a script in the head, Hostinger lets you add a data-render-head attribute to that tag. AnveVoice does not need this. Get your embed ID at app.anvevoice.app first. The Free plan is $0, includes 50,000 tokens a month and needs no card.

  • 1. Copy the AnveVoice tag — Use your own ID in place of YOUR_EMBED_ID. Options: &position=bottom-left, &theme=dark. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>

Add it in Integrations

  • 1. Open More — In the builder click the More button (three dots). In older versions of the builder the same page sits under Website settings.
  • 2. Open Integrations — Choose Integrations and find the Custom code field.
  • 3. Paste the tag — Paste the AnveVoice line. If other snippets are already there, add yours below them, on its own line. Hostinger specifically says not to paste a new snippet in the middle of another one.
  • 4. Save — Click Save.
  • 5. Update the website — Update your website. Hostinger explains that this step pushes the script into the site's source code; saving alone does not publish it.

Alternative: the embed code element

Hostinger also has an embed code element for HTML that should sit in a particular spot in the page body. Open the Add elements panel on the left, drag the embed code element to the place you want, click Enter code, paste your code and select Embed code. Then update the website. For AnveVoice, Integrations is the better choice because it covers every page at once. The embed element belongs to one page, so you would repeat it on each. One Hostinger warning applies to embeds: images pasted in data:image format can trigger an embed code is too large error and stop the site from updating, so keep embeds to simple tags like ours.

Hostinger-specific behaviour

  • You will not see it in the editor. Hostinger says custom code changes are visible in preview mode and on the live site, not inside the editor canvas.
  • Updating is a separate step. Save, then Update website; forgetting it is the most common reason nothing appears.
  • Plans. The custom-code help pages do not mention plan limits. If the Integrations screen offers Custom code on your plan, you can use it.
  • Break and fix. If your site breaks after adding code, Hostinger advises going to Integrations, Custom code, removing all snippets, updating the site and then re-adding them one at a time.
  • Always use HTTPS. Hostinger notes that HTTP links are blocked by browsers; the AnveVoice URL already uses https, and the microphone also requires your site to be on HTTPS.

Check it works

  • 1. Open the live site — Use a private window on your real domain after updating.
  • 2. Look for the button — A round microphone sits in the bottom-right corner by default.
  • 3. Inspect if needed — Hostinger suggests right-clicking the page, choosing Inspect and searching for a keyword from your snippet, such as embed.js, to confirm it was added.

Common problems

  • Nothing after saving: you did not click Update website, or a browser cache is showing the old page. Clear it and retry.
  • Site stopped updating: an embed element with a very large block of code; remove it and keep the code to the single script line.
  • Two buttons: you pasted into both Integrations and an embed element. Keep one.
