AnveVoice

Add a Voice AI Agent to Your Jimdo Website (2026)

Add the AnveVoice voice agent to Jimdo Creator using Edit Head or a Widget/HTML element. Jimdo Dolphin limits, menu paths and checks are covered here.

How to add AnveVoice to a Jimdo website

On Jimdo Creator, open Menu, Settings, Edit Head and paste the AnveVoice tag, then save. Jimdo Dolphin sites steer you to built-in tools and do not document head editing, so a Dolphin site may not accept the script at all. Researched from the sources below on 2026-10-14.

At a glance

  • Where the code goes: Creator: Menu, Settings, Edit Head (site-wide). A Widget/HTML element works on one page
  • Jimdo Dolphin: Jimdo recommends built-in tools; no head-code setting is documented
  • Plan limit: Jimdo's help does not state one for Edit Head; check your own plan
  • Requirement: The site must not be in Under Construction mode

Creator or Dolphin: check first

Jimdo sells two different products. Jimdo Creator is the older, more flexible editor. Jimdo Dolphin is the AI-assisted editor where you answer questions and receive a finished site. Jimdo's own help for custom code is written for Creator. For Dolphin, Jimdo's guidance is to use the built-in tools rather than add your own code, and the help pages we checked describe no head-editing setting for it. To see which you have, open your editor. If it offers a Menu with Settings and an Edit Head item, it is Creator. If you cannot find any code option, you likely have Dolphin, and the honest answer for now is that you cannot add AnveVoice to that site. In that case see the last section for the practical workaround. Prepare your embed ID at app.anvevoice.app, where the Free plan costs $0, includes 50,000 tokens a month and needs no card.

  • 1. Copy the tag — Use your own embed ID. Options: &position=bottom-left and &theme=dark. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>

Method 1: Edit Head (site-wide, Creator)

Jimdo's help describes the Edit Head field as the place for code that an external provider tells you to put in the head of your site, such as a verification tag. A Jimdo blog post names the same screen as Settings, Website, Edit Head, so the label may differ slightly by editor version.

  • 1. Open Settings — Open the Jimdo Creator editor, click Menu and choose Settings.
  • 2. Open Edit Head — Click Edit Head. If you do not see it directly, look under the Website part of Settings.
  • 3. Paste the tag — Paste the AnveVoice line into the box. The tag is asynchronous, so it does not delay the page from drawing.
  • 4. Save — Click Save. Jimdo states that the site must not be in Under Construction mode, otherwise visitors only see the placeholder page.

Method 2: a Widget/HTML element

Jimdo Creator also lets you add your own code with an element. Hover over the content area, choose Add element, then More elements and Add-ons, and select Widget/HTML. Paste the code and click Save, and the code loads. Jimdo says you can write your own code or paste code from an external provider. Because an element lives on the page you added it to, this route is per page. Use it if you only want the voice agent on one page, or if Edit Head is not available on your plan. For a whole site, Edit Head is much easier to maintain. Jimdo's search-widget guide shows that some tools split their code between Edit Head and an element; AnveVoice does not, it needs only one tag.

Jimdo-specific points

  • Where it shows. Script tags in Edit Head or a Widget/HTML element may not appear while you are editing. Check the live URL.
  • Plans. Jimdo's article does not name a plan for Edit Head. Check your own account to see what your plan includes.
  • Dolphin sites. Jimdo recommends built-in tools for Dolphin. Do not rely on the Creator steps there.
  • Third-party code support. Jimdo covers its own features; treat custom code as your responsibility and keep a note of what you added.
  • HTTPS. The microphone requires HTTPS, and Jimdo sites are served over it; confirm the address starts with https.

If you have Dolphin or no code option

If your Jimdo site cannot hold the script, you have two sound options. First, build a small page on a platform that accepts custom code, put the AnveVoice voice agent there, and link to it from your Jimdo navigation. Second, move the site to a builder that allows custom code, and keep your domain. Neither is as seamless as installing in place, but both beat a script that never loads.

Check it works

  • 1. Open the live site — Visit your public address in a private window.
  • 2. Find the button — A round microphone appears in the bottom-right corner.
  • 3. Try a question — Click it, allow microphone access and ask about your services.
