AnveVoice

Add a Voice AI Agent to a Strikingly Website

Add the AnveVoice voice agent to Strikingly via Settings, Advanced, Custom Code, Footer. Pro or VIP plan needed; blog posts have their own boxes.

How to add AnveVoice to a Strikingly website

In the Strikingly editor go to Settings, Advanced, Custom Code and paste the AnveVoice tag into the Footer box. Strikingly offers custom code on its Pro and VIP subscriptions, and blog posts use separate code boxes. Researched from the sources below on 2026-10-14.

At a glance

  • Where the code goes: Settings, Advanced, Custom Code, Footer (header and an HTML section also exist)
  • Plan limit: Strikingly says custom code is available for Pro and VIP subscriptions
  • Blog posts: Separate boxes under Settings, Blog, Blog Settings
  • Limit: No backend code access; front-end HTML, CSS and JavaScript only

Three places for custom code

Strikingly's help centre lists three places where you can add your own code. The first is an HTML section, added through Add New Section, then App Store & HTML, then HTML. That one is intended for embeds that display inside the page, such as a form. The other two are a Header box and a Footer box under Settings, Advanced, Custom Code. Strikingly's guidance is that style and tracking code suits the header, and JavaScript for things like chat clients suits the footer. A voice assistant is closest to a chat client, so the Footer box is the right home for the AnveVoice tag. The HTML section is the wrong place because it renders inside the page layout, and the button we draw floats outside it. Get your embed ID from app.anvevoice.app first; the Free plan costs $0 with 50,000 tokens a month and no card.

  • 1. Copy the tag — Replace YOUR_EMBED_ID with your own ID. You can append &position=bottom-left or &theme=dark. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>

Install in the Footer box

  • 1. Open the Strikingly editor — Sign in and open the site you want to edit.
  • 2. Open Settings — Click Settings, then Advanced.
  • 3. Open Custom Code — Select the Custom Code tab and find the Footer box.
  • 4. Paste the AnveVoice tag — Paste the line into Footer. Leave any other scripts that are already there.
  • 5. Save and publish — Save the change, then publish the site so visitors get the update.

The plan requirement

Strikingly's support article states that the custom code feature is currently available for Pro and VIP subscriptions, and that backend code access is not supported. Its Pro features page repeats that custom code, meaning your own HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the header, footer or an HTML section, is a Pro-level feature. On a lower plan the Custom Code tab is either not usable or prompts you to upgrade. Strikingly's help articles are fairly old, and plan names do change, so look at the pricing page and your own Settings before relying on this. If you are on a free site, you can still try AnveVoice on any other platform or on a paid test site before upgrading.

Strikingly details that matter

  • Blog posts are separate. Strikingly gives blog posts their own header and footer code boxes under Settings, Blog, Blog Settings. They apply to blog posts only, and the main site's custom code is not applied to blog posts. To have the voice agent on posts, paste the tag in both places.
  • Do not rely on jQuery. If you ever add scripts that need jQuery, Strikingly says you must wait for the page load event with its own _strk.push Page.didMount wrapper. AnveVoice does not use jQuery, so you can ignore this unless other code conflicts.
  • Front end only. Strikingly does not give backend access, which is fine for AnveVoice since the whole feature runs in the browser.
  • Site-wide by default. Custom code in the main Footer box applies to the pages of the main site, so a one-page site gets it once.
  • HTTPS. Browsers require HTTPS for the microphone; use your published, secured address when testing.

Check it works

  • 1. Open the published site — Use a private window on your live address.
  • 2. Look for the button — A round microphone appears bottom-right unless you set bottom-left.
  • 3. Test a blog post — If you use the blog, open a post as well. Its code boxes are separate, so the button may be missing there until you add the tag.

Common problems

  • Custom Code tab unavailable: your subscription is below Pro.
  • Button on pages but not on blog posts: add the tag to the blog's own boxes.
  • Nothing after saving: publish the site; the live version does not update on save alone.
  • Conflicts after adding other scripts: remove them one by one to find the clash.
