Add a Voice AI Agent to Webnode (2026 Guide)
Add the AnveVoice voice agent to a Webnode site through Settings, Website Settings and the HTML header/footer box. Covers premium-plan limits and publishing.
How to add AnveVoice to a Webnode website
Webnode has a site-wide HTML header/footer box under Settings → Website Settings, and it is a premium feature. Paste the AnveVoice tag there, save, publish, and the voice button loads on every page. On Webnode's free plan this box is not available, so read the plan section first. Steps checked against the official documentation on 2026-10-14.
At a glance
- Where the code goes: Settings → Website Settings → HTML header/footer (all pages), or a page's SEO settings → Custom HTML header code (one page)
- Coding needed: None; paste one line and publish
- Plan limits: Header HTML needs the Standard, Profi or Business premium package, per Webnode's help article
- Time: About 2 minutes after you have your embed ID
Before you start
Get your embed ID from the AnveVoice dashboard at app.anvevoice.app. The AnveVoice Free plan needs no card, so the only paid item in this setup, if any, is on the Webnode side. Webnode's help center describes two different editors. The current editor is the one covered here. If your site was built in the older Webnode editor, the toolbar and menus differ, and Webnode lists that material in a separate Previous Version section; the safest move is to check which editor you have by looking for Settings and Pages in the top menu of the one you use.
- 1. Copy the tag — The line below is the whole install. Put your own embed ID where YOUR_EMBED_ID sits. Add &position=bottom-left or &theme=dark after the ID if you want to change the look. Code: <script src="https://anvevoice.app/embed.js?embedId=YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>
Which Webnode package allows header code
Webnode's article "How to Add HTML Code into the Site Header" says adding HTML code to the header is possible only with the premium plans Standard, Profi or Business. For a single page's header code the same article adds that this applies to projects created after 26 June 2023. Putting HTML in the body of a page, through the HTML content option, is a separate premium feature, and Webnode's "How to Add HTML Code" article says it is available with any premium package for projects created after the same date. In practice that means a Free site cannot run the AnveVoice script through either route. If you are on the free tier, you have two honest options: upgrade to a package that includes header code, or keep the free site and link visitors to a page that you host on a platform that allows scripts.
Method 1: one tag for every page
- 1. Open Settings — In the Webnode editor click Settings.
- 2. Find the HTML header/footer window — Go to Website Settings. On the right you will see the HTML header/footer box.
- 3. Paste the tag — Paste the AnveVoice line into the box. Webnode's guide says that if you already have code there, such as a Facebook Pixel or AdSense link, you add yours underneath the existing code rather than replacing it.
- 4. Save and publish — Click Save, then publish the changes. Nothing reaches visitors until you publish.
Method 2: one page only
Use this if you want the voice agent on, say, your pricing page but not on the rest of the site. Webnode's HTML content option places code visibly in a section, and Webnode warns that you only see it on the published site, not inside the editor. AnveVoice does not need a visible block; the header method above is cleaner.
- 1. Open the page's SEO settings — Click Pages, select the page in the left column and expand SEO page settings.
- 2. Paste into Custom HTML header code — Scroll down to the field named Custom HTML header code, paste the tag, and publish. Again, add to any code that is already there.
Check that it works
- 1. Open the published address in a private window — Because Webnode renders custom code only on the live site, the editor view will show nothing and that is normal.
- 2. Look for the microphone button — It sits at the bottom-right by default. Click it, accept the browser microphone prompt, and ask something your pages can answer.
- 3. Clear your own cache if needed — Webnode's help center has an article on clearing cache and cookies. If you changed the tag and still see the old behaviour, do a hard refresh.
Common problems on Webnode
- There is no HTML header/footer box: your site is on the free plan or on a package below Standard. Check Webnode's premium plan list and upgrade, or use a different host for the page.
- Saved but not visible: you did not publish. Header changes only reach the live site after publishing.
- The button shows on one page only: the tag was added as page-level header code rather than in Website Settings.
- Old-editor site: if the menus do not match these steps, your project uses the previous Webnode editor. Its way of adding code is different and is documented separately by Webnode.
- No microphone prompt: the page must be on HTTPS. Check the address bar for the padlock before testing.
